Planting Activity

In this activity the children planted seeds in cardboard pots. They planted chickpea, fava seeds as well as seeds of various flowers. The activity entailed looking at pictures of seed germination from a book, engaging the children in conversation about seeds, plants and growing of plants and then facilitating the children’s planting activity. Finally the children watered their plants and decided as a group where they would like to place their activity.
